ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SENDING MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS
WHEN DO I NEED TO ORDER MY MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS?
We recommend that you should order your Mother's Day flowers sooner rather than later. As we get closer to Mother's Day we may sell out of the most popular bouquets, so by ordering early you’ll get the best choice possible. Order by 6.30pm on 10th March for Mother's Day delivery.
Top Tip... If possible, order your flowers for your mum to be delivered the day before Mother's Day so that you can surprise her with a beautiful bouquet first thing in the morning!
WHEN WILL MY MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS BE DELIVERED?
We get lots of people asking when their Mother's Day flowers will be delivered and the answer is that this depends on which flower delivery option you select. As Mother's Day is on a Sunday we recommend our premium delivery option, which gives you greater control and visibility of the delivery time, including a one-hour window notified in advance by text message.
Top Tip... Choose 'Premium Pre-12' delivery if you want to ensure your Mum's flowers arrive on Mother's Day morning!
HOW CAN I KEEP MY MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS ALIVE?
Our Mother's Day flowers are delivered before the buds are in full bloom to ensure they last as long as possible. As well as complimentary flower food, we also include a handy guide for your mum with every bouquet which includes top tips on how to care for her Mother's Day flowers, so that they can be enjoyed for as long as possible.
Top Tip... Keep Mother's Day flowers away from sources of direct heat, such as radiators, to ensure that they don't start to wilt or droop prematurely!
WHERE DOES THE TRADITION OF SENDING MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS COME FROM?
We have been celebrating Mother's Day in the UK since the 16th century, however the meaning of Mothering Sunday back then was a celebration of the church. On this day every year everybody in society would attend church, reuniting mothers with their children that they may not have seen for a full year due to being held under a master. This is where our modern day Mother's Day celebration has originated from.
