WHEN DO I NEED TO ORDER MY VALENTINE'S DAY FLOWERS?
We recommend that you should order your Valentine's Day flowers sooner rather than later. As we get closer to Valentine's Day we may sell out of the most popular bouquets, so if you order early you'll get the best choice possible. But, if you do leave it to the last minute, don't worry! We'll be taking flower orders until 9pm on Monday February 13th for delivery on Valentine's Day itself.
Top Tip... If possible, order your flowers to be delivered the day before Valentine's day so that you can surprise your loved one with their beautiful bouquet first thing in the morning!
WHEN WILL MY VALENTINE'S DAY FLOWERS BE DELIVERED?
We get lots of people asking when their Valentine's Day flowers will be delivered and the answer is that this depends on which flower delivery option you select. We recommend our premium delivery option which gives you greater control and visibility of the delivery time, including a one-hour window notified in advance.
Top Tip... Choose 'Premium Pre-12' delivery if you want to ensure your flowers to arrive in the morning of Valentine's Day!
HOW CAN I KEEP MY VALENTINE'S DAY FLOWERS ALIVE?
Our Valentine's day flowers are delivered before the buds are in full bloom to ensure they last as long as possible. As well as complimentary flower food, we also include a handy guide with every bouquet with top tips on how to care for your Valentine's Day flowers so that they can be enjoyed for as long as possible.
Top Tip... Keep your Valentine’s Day flowers away from sources of direct heat, such as radiators, to ensure that they don’t start to wilt or droop prematurely!
WHERE DOES THE TRADITION OF SENDING VALENTINE'S DAY FLOWERS COME FROM?
St Valentine’s Day itself has been celebrated for centuries with roots dating back to the Roman times. However, we can trace the modern tradition of sending flowers on St Valentine’s Day back to the 18th Century, when the Swedish King Charles II attached unique meanings different flowers allowing people to convey their true feelings using just flowers.
