Flowers That Bloom At Night And Give You Light

Who needs garden lights when you can have flowers that glow in the moonlight?

What plants do we associate with night time? Lavender for its soothing smell which can send you to sleep or even chamomile tea? But did you know some flowers bloom at night?

Why Flowers Bloom at Night

Flowers that bloom at night are definitely oddities, but there's a reason for it! These flowers bloom in the dark is because they're pollinated by nocturnal insects like moths, and they've evolved and adapted to match their behaviour. In fact, a lot of night blooming flowers are white for the same reason - moths find them easier to spot!

If you work during the day and miss out on watching your day flowers bloom, then moon gardens are fantastic for you. Just imagine sitting outside on a dusky night, admiring your magical garden lit up by these extraordinary flowers.

Here are some incredible night flowers that would look great in your moon garden!
