Flowers That Mean Business: Corporate Flowers

Whether it's to add a splash of colour to the office, or to make customers feel a warm welcome upon entering your business - corporate flowers are a great way to communicate a strong message and keep spirits high in the working environment.

Today we'll go through the importance of corporate flowers in the business world, occasions they can be used for and which flowers for which occasion.

Add some colour to your desk!

A vibrant, scented and flourishing bouquet is a great way to add a bit of character to your workplace. Whilst others may put their stamp on their desk with quirky mouse mats, pictures of loved ones or personalised mugs, flowers do this whilst lighting up both your desk and your mood. It doesn't stop there either, a study undertaken at Texas A&M University found that both men and women exposed to fresh plants in a working environment demonstrated more innovative thinking - generating more ides and original solutions to problems.

First Impression Flowers

First impressions are everything, and so adding a couple of warm and welcoming bouquets to your reception, lobby or waiting room can be a great way to welcome any visitors or customers you may encounter throughout the day. Creating a positive atmosphere upon entrance to any reception, office or shop is paramount; and the addition of a fresh bouquet is bound to improve the whole feel of the room no end. It has in fact been scientifically proven that flowers bring about positive emotional feelings in those who enter a room. They make the space more welcoming and create a sharing atmosphere (Dr. Haviland-Jones). As well as this, a separate study explored where in their homes people should display flowers. Arrangements were placed in areas of the home that are open to visitors such as foyers, living rooms and dining rooms. The results found that it made the place more inviting and more conducive for welcoming guests!
