Flowers Delivered In Goring
The name 'Goring' is technically an electoral division, although the neighbourhood of Goring-by-Sea which it encompasses is often known by the shorter name too. The 'by-Sea' suffix was simply a later addition, intended to avoid confusion with Goring-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, and admittedly it helps to make sure the flower delivery Goring residents order is sent to the right place. Goring has an unusual place in popular culture; while most scenic locations are perhaps used as film sets or immortalised in photography, Goring's beach was instead captured in audio form by Pete Townshend, with the sounds of the sea incorporated into The Who's album Quadrophenia.
As for the word 'Goring' itself, there are two possible derivations, including simply the chance that the land was originally settled by somebody named Gara. The alternative meaning might be 'people of the wedge-shaped land', but we will probably never know for certain. One thing you can know with more certainty is that the flower delivery Goring residents order will usually arrive the following day - only orders placed late in the day will typically take longer to prepare.
