We are super excited that today is the first day of the annual RHS Chelsea Flower Show! We wanted to take a look at just some of the best designs over the recent years.
Celebrity gardeners such as Alan Titchmarsh have their own gardens to show off. Many famous people are regular attendants, such as Joanna Lumley, Davina McCall and Benedict Cumberbatch. It's such a grand event that even Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II will be there.
The possibilities with gardening are endless, which makes the Chelsea Flower Show so exciting. Different brands and charities also have their own gardens, they design and innovate gardens like you have never seen before.
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is in its 102nd year. The RHS Great Spring Show was first held in the now vanished RHS garden in Kensington in 1862. Between 1888 and 1911 it was held in the Temple Gardens. It moved to its current site at Chelsea Hospital in 1913. Of the firms that exhibited at the first Show in 1913, only two are still showing: McBean’s Orchids, and Blackmore and Langdon.
